Support for OpenAPI and ApiDoc documentation

Feb 6, 2016

We know that your business needs to be flexible, including technology stacks across teams. That is why we are very pleased to now offer support for two additional web API documentation frameworks, including the OpenAPI / Swagger specification. While Revelio was initially built targeting .NET Web API, our OpenAPI adapter effectively adds cross-platform support.

Additionally, we now support apiDoc documentation through our apiDoc adapter. The apiDoc project uses inline comments for Java, JavaScript, PHP, C#, and more. It also allows for custom documentation fields. We are very excited to bring its capabilities to Revelio's enterprise API documentation offering.

Revelio 0.3.1 is now available.

Changelog:

  • Database connection string storage has been moved to the Windows registry to resolve possible permission issues with the Application Pool identity
  • Fixed fav.ico reference path
  • Fixed null reference in Site view

We're very excited about Revelio's power and future possibilities. Our next goals include support for other specifications, like ApiDoc, and adding Revelio to the Azure marketplace. Are there things you would like to see? Create a request on our board or send us an email.
